Iran producer joins ACAMPADOC jury panel

Producer for Iranian feature film ‘Kiarostami and His Missing Cane’ has been selected as a member of the 2019 AcampaDOC International Documentary Film Festival in Panama.

Behrouz Neshan will be joining the jury panel of the AcampaDOC as a judge for the festival’s documentary section.

In addition to his jury duties at the Panamanian film festival, Neshan will also be holding an educational workshop on filmmaking planning at the festival’s eighth annual event.

Earlier this year, the independent film producer also took part as a member of the jury panel at Italy’s 13th annual River Film Festival.

Neshan’s latest flick ‘Kiarostami and His Missing Cane’ was a novel depiction on the life and career of the late Iranian filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami.

AcampaDOC is Central America’s only film festival focused on documentaries, featuring various filmmaking programs and activities including screenings and workshops.

The 8th annual event is set to be held August 8-17, 2019.
